About Daci
My journey as a wedding dress designer started in 1996 when my best friend got married.
We were both seniors at the Art University in Cluj-Napoca, a beautiful city in Romania. I was finishing my degree in fashion design when she got engaged. She wanted a unique wedding dress and asked me to create it for her.
The gown I designed and created for her was a silk, deep V neckline, minimalist dress with a ceramic beaded art deco belt as a centerpiece.
Since then, I have designed hundreds of one of a kind wedding gowns, for brides that wanted to wear something unique on their wedding day.
I have my own bridal line and add new designs every year for brides that don’t want a custom design but are looking for something unique, effortless, sexy, relaxed yet detailed. I create the heirloom gown you will want to keep and will love forever.
My dresses are one of a kind and I always wanted to keep them like that because each bride is one of a kind. The silks and laces I pick from all around the world are the finest and often I can’t find those specific fabrics and laces again.
Another detail that makes my dresses special is the silhouette. I’m passionate as much for the way the dress fits as I am for designing and picking fabrics. The fabrics and laces bring to life the specific design. The dress design also has to compliment the body type.
There has to be a perfect balance between design-fabrics-silhouette.
I love the beauty that comes by finding and choosing the right shape and then fitting it perfectly to each of the brides’ body.
