Daci's passion for designing wedding gowns is evident the moment you meet her. Her every word conveys how much she loves what she does, and how much she cares for her dresses and the brides that are lucky enough to wear them.
When I initially reached out to Daci, I was trying to decide between a gown that was fitted, and a gown that would be light, flowy, and able to billow in the Icelandic winds - the location of our elopement. Daci assured me we could create a dress that would suit everything I had ever wanted, and then some - and exceed expectations she did.
Daci designed for me a gorgeous, fitted lace dress with detachable lace sleeves, and an overskirt with several panels of hand-dyed ivory and blush silk. At the final fitting we decided to add a bridal cape with the same lace as my dress and silk panels that were slightly more blush than on the overskirt. I felt like I had several stunning dresses - all built into a one-of-a-kind, custom dress, created just for me.
Daci was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and professional in all our interactions. Since I do not live in the USA, we had to correspond through email and meet a few times over zoom to discuss the dress and take my measurements. When my mom and I flew out to meet Daci for the fittings, I couldn't believe how perfectly the dress fit me. You could tell it was literally made for me. I could have went home with it then and been absolutely thrilled with the dress.
At that first fitting, Daci went over every piece of the dress to make sure all the details suited my vision for my wedding day. Daci's attention to detail is impeccable. She added lace to the neckline, tried out a variety of silk panels for the overskirt, and ensured that the fitted dress would lay perfectly flat and not ripple. Since we were flying home the next day, Daci spent the rest of the day, (along with her lovely seamstress) finishing the small additions. When I went for the final fitting the next day, the dress was perfect.
If you are trying to decide whether you should fly out to meet Daci and do the fitting in person - don’t hesitate, book the ticket. I learned so much about my dress and the process that went into creating it that I wouldn’t have known had I not met Daci in person. Also, entering Daci’s bridal boutique was inspiring. You could see and feel how much work she has put into developing her craft and creating unique dresses for each bride.

I have taken months to write this review, for the simple reason that words cannot describe the nostalgia I feel whenever I think about the experience of working with you to create my wedding dress.
Designing the dress, flying out to meet you with my mom, and putting the dress on for the first time will forever be some of my favorite memories. I am sincerely hoping that we will have a reason to meet again in the future. Thank you for making my fairytale wedding dress dreams come true.

"I had the BEST experience working with Daci! I would not have thought to have had a wedding dress specifically designed for me, but my matron of honor told me to just meet with Daci to talk about it as she had seen one of Daci's creations at another wedding. I brought my dress design ideas to my first meeting with Daci and was instantly sold on the idea. The biggest benefit was having a dress that fit MY body-something that can be hard as a woman who is bigger chested but not so much everywhere else. I hate having dresses that "kind of" fit-I wanted my wedding dress and my wedding day to be perfect! It was also such a joy to pick the fabric, the lace, the idea and the vision for the dress WITH Daci. She has such a beautiful eye and her dressmaking talent was beyond my expectations. Daci designed a stunning tulle overskirt that I wore over my wedding dress for my ceremony. Her attention to detail and creative design made for a truly unique and special overskirt that met my expectations and my vision. I never would have been able to find an overskirt like the one she custom made for me.Daci was a delight to work with, very responsive, fairly priced, and she finished the product in time. I'm very happy with her services and will go back to her for any custom design in the future.

Stunning was how I felt in it and it was exactly how I envisioned I would look and feel in it. She made the dress to fit my body instead of me having to force my body to fit into the dress. "My husband and I met salsa dancing in Seattle. I knew he was the one from our first bachata. I had imagined our first dance long before he asked me to marry him – so it is no surprise that after he asked me we began developing our first dance choreography. For me the first dance was the most important part of the wedding (second only to the getting married part, of course), but I quickly ran into a problem. You can’t dance salsa in a wedding dress! Or can you… ?? I began looking for wedding dress designers in Boise and quickly found Daci. I emailed her to tell her about my interests (a dress that transitions from a long wedding dress to a short, sexy salsa dress in a dramatic spin out). I figured she would think I was crazy – but at our first meeting she had already done some research and had several ideas. She is amazing! She is also extremely reasonably priced for a custom designed handmade wedding dress. She made me the most perfect, unforgettable dress that, yes, I could spin out of. We met for at least seven fittings where we would design, shorten, tighten, bling up, etc the dress. After the dress was done she came to one of our dress rehearsals to watch us dance -- just to make sure everything fit and flowed well. Not only is she an amazing dress maker and artist – she is an absolutely wonderful and sweet person. I loved working with her. I give her my highest recommendation! If you want the perfect dress, go see Daci."

"If you are anything like me and you are looking for that one of a kind dress Wedding Gowns by Daci is the only way to go!! The dress I had in visoned for my wedding day just didn't exist in the bridal stores. Believe me I looked there were dresses that came close but nothing gave me that overall look that I was going for. Thank goodness I ran into Daci at the Boise Wedding show.
