One of a kind wedding dress for a Thailand adventure elopement

Meg contacted us a year before their elopement. It was an email that I absolutely loved reading. She started envisioning her dream wedding gown for their elopement in Thailand and described it so beautifully. Both her and her fiancée are wedding photographers - Run Wild With Me Photography, and now it was her turn to get married.

I’d love to share her email to us below and also the photos from their elopement:

We have been dreaming of this day for some time now and so far our vision is to explore the islands and jungles, to play with elephants, kayak, swim, dance, play our favorite board game and say our vows!

Our day is going to be a unique adventure and my hope is to create a dress that will reflect that. I have been following you on insta for a bit now and every time I see one of your designs I stop in my scroll and swoon over it! I love your artistic eye to create dresses that are whimsical, boho, flowy, romantic, playful, detailed and oh so captivating. I’m really hoping to work with you on creating a custom made dress!

So about my dream dress - I’m hoping for a dress that is in hues of lavender, periwinkle, and maybe hints of blue/turquoise. I’m open to other color suggestions, but would like the dress to be more colorful than white.

Since we are having an adventurous elopement, my dress would need to be comfortable and easy to move around in. Flowy with lots of motion would be great as well. We might even say our vows in a body of water! Boho and ethereal elements are my jam and I love fun sleeves, fringe, capes/wings, and details.

We don’t have a theme persay, but I enjoy moon phase symbolism. I’d love it if we could use eco-friendly, recycled, and/or sustainably sourced fabrics if at all possible.

Clearly I’ve got a lot of ideas, but ultimately I'm looking for your guidance and expertise on what is best. I am a big fan of your work and want your artistic eye to lead in creating my dream dress.

Their dream wedding in Thailand came to life and The Foxes Photography captured their magical day. Each photo describes so well what Meg had in mind when she first contacted us. Her wedding dress was just as unique as their adventure elopement.

Her custom gown was a two piece: a silk periwinkle romper and a flowy dress with a cape. The dress had Art Deco lace detail and fringe. Lots of lavender and periwinkle hues. The dress had a deep v neckline and an open back. Flowy with lots of movement exactly what she wished for!

It was such a unique adventure elopement just like they envisioned. We are honored we were part of it!
