Elopement is Scotland bride Sarah part 2

Sarah and Trevor eloped to Scotland last fall. Sarah felt in love with our Heidi wedding dress and thought it would be the perfect elopement dress for hiking the highlands of the Isle of Skye.

I love designing wedding dresses for adventurous and outdoorsy brides. Every time I design a new dress I imagine it come to life, see it flow and become part of the nature. I’ve traveled places, mostly Europe but never been to Scotland. It’s a magical place I hope I can visit someday.

Heidi wedding dress is a A line silhouette, a light and flowy dress. A fitted bodice with lace wrapped around the torso, sweetheart neckline and detailed silk chiffon ruching. Each silk panel is individually hand dyed with plant and fruit based dyes. The pastels are hues of blush and creams.

We re-created Heidi dress many times and each time slightly different. The brides also get to pick the finishing touches. Most favorites finishing touches styled with Heidi wedding dresses are: the Bryce flowy sleeves, Cara or Kylie bridal cape or Dawn silk sleeves. Sarah picked the Bryce flowy sleeves.
